1975 Salthouse 42ft Launch. Builder A. Williams Limited. A very similar hull to a MKI Corsair but larger. She is powered by a Detroit GM8V71TT, shaft drive motor reportedly being fully reconditioned in December 2016 with a vessel refurbishment at the same time. Her cruising speed is a reported 9 knots at 1500 RPM and approx. 20L per hour and max speed 16 knots. A bow thruster is in place for easy handling. The vessel has a reported 4.2m beam and 1.3m draft and is built out of double diagonal Kauri glassed over. This big volume vessel, with a decent beam, has a great cockpit with plenty of room. The wide entry door opens into the main saloon which is well designed, the helm station has good all-round vision to the starboard side and sliding door entry to the forward deck. She has 1.96m headroom with 3 cabins forward sleeping 1 double and 4 single berths. The separate shower and Lectrasan toilet system are also in the forward cabin.
